Procedure of Admission
- After Registration candidates will be notified of the date of Admission tests and interview. The qualifying written test in English, Math's , Hindi is held to assess the ability of children for admission to a particular class followed by an interview with the Principal. As the medium of instruction is English an understanding of English as well as average English speaking capability is a must for all applicants. Candidates qualifying in the test will be granted admission subjects to availability of seats, No admission is granted unless all the requirements are fulfilled. The Admission committee reserves the right to select the candidates based on their performance in the written test, interview and their aptitude, personality, intelligence and other capabilities. The decision of the Admission Committee will be final and binding in all cases. If a candidate fails to appear in the admission test/interview, his/her registration will lapse and the registration fee will be forfeited. However, the admission committee may conduct a special test, in a genuine case, if justified.
Once the candidates is selected, he / she is required to fulfill all the formalities and pay the necessary fees on the day of selection. If he / she fails to do so, the school is free to offer the seat to another in order of merit or position on the waiting list. Every child is required to bring a fitness certificate by an MBBS Doctor stating that the child is Medically/Physically fit. (The school authorities should be informed if the child has some problems like allergies, fits etc.)
The school, however reserves the right to decide the class in which a child may be placed on admission. The Principal does not bind himself / herself to furnish any reason for rejecting any application for admission. A child joining from any other school should carry his / her Transfer Certificate from the previous school. Admission to KG. or any other class should be accompanied by a Birth Certificate from the Municipal or competent authorities. The date of birth as declared at the time of admission cannot be altered later on in the school register. The Minimum age of admission in class KG. is 3 years and 6 months as on 1st April.
Two photographs of the child are to be submitted during admission.
Withdrawals
- If a child has to be withdrawn, from the school in mid term, the parents will have to pay whole term fees failing which the child's TC will be with held.
School Diary
- Every student must have his/her own school diary and must bring it to school daily for taking down daily home work and other instruction from the teachers.
Examination & Promotion
- The school works on continuous comprehensive evaluation system. Progress reports are sent to the parents after each test. They should be signed by the parents and returned to the school promptly. Attendance in all tests including oral and practical is compulsory. Only medical leave can be granted during the tests on production of a proper medical certificate.
Attendance
- Students are not granted leave of absence unless their parents send an application in writing for the same.
- If a student falls ill, it should be informed to the Principal at the earliest and entered in the leave of absence record of the school diary & a medical certificate duly attested by a registered medical practioner is to be provided..
- Late comers will not be admitted to class, unless they bring a written excuse in the late attendance record.
- If a student is not having a minimum of 75% attendance, he/she will not be allowed to appear in the final examination.
Cleanliness
Special care is taken to keep the school premises clean, tidy and attractive. Scribbling on the walls, desks and books is strictly forbidden and any student indulging in such malpractices is liable to be fined to compensate the loss and make good any damage done to the school furniture, apparatus or building.
Parent-Teacher Meeting (P.T.M)
To facilitate good rapport and to avoid communication gap between the parents and teachers, provision is made for parent-teacher meetings every month. Parents are expected to attend them regularly.
School Rules
- The school diary has to be brought to the school every day and Parents/Guardian should see the diary for remarks, circulars etc. and act accordingly.
- All students must regularly attend the school in full school uniform.
- Every student shall maintain a high standard of discipline.
- All students should wear only the prescribed school uniform on all school days and at all school functions. Students are permitted to wear fancy dress on their Birthdays and on Children's Day celebrations. Students with wrong uniform will not be permitted to attend the class.
- Student using self arranged transport (not personal vehicle) should reach the school 15 minutes before the morning assembly.
- Causing damage to the property or things belonging to others will result in disciplinary action or/and fine.
- Only prescribed textbooks as per the time table and library books are to be brought to the school. All books should be prescribed by NCERT & CBSE regulatory books and text books should be maintained well with a plastic cover over it.
- No valuables/ornaments/Mobile phones are permitted in the school.
- School is not responsible for goods lost by students.
- Parents/Guardians are not allowed to meet students or teachers during school time. If a parent wants to meet his ward or the teacher, for whatsoever reasons, he/she should take prior permission from the principal/Headmistress.
- Students are not granted leave except in case of genuine medical problems for which medical certificate from the school Doctor/Competent authority is to be submitted.
- No students will be permitted to leave the school during school hours on the basis of written request. Parents/Guardian should come personally to the school in case of emergency.
- Students who absent themselves form class days must bring a note of explanation on the following day in the school diary and submit it to the Principal/Headmistress before entering the class.
- Name of those students who absent themselves from the school without prior permission/information for a period exceeding 10 consecutive days will be removed from the school record. Fresh admission fee will be charged for re-admission.
- Students who suffer from infectious diseases should not attend the school until they are completely cured. Fitness certificate from a registered doctor/school doctor is mandatory before attending regular classes.
- Students should always speak ENGLISH language inside the school campus.
- Transfer certificate, Conduct Certificate and Progress Report will be issued only after clearing school dues (if any).
- Students are not allowed to be absent on the closing day/reopening day or whenever there is a school function.
- The intended withdrawal of a pupil should be made known to the office in writing one calendar month in advance otherwise one month's fee will be charged.
- The Principal reserves the right to cancel, add or amend any school rules.
